Premiere: Behold the Lachrymose Doomy Grandeur of Ketoret feat. Zeresh
Some musicians were made to play together, as in some souls were destined to intertwine into a beautiful whole. Such is the case with Atmospheric black metal band Ketoret and the doomy, folky vibrations emanating from Tamar Singer's wonderful solo project Zeresh. This, in fact, is not news, with little ole me actually saying the exact same thing when they two magical forces came together via their beautiful collaborative split with Wyatt E. last year (as can also be seen on the 2023 list). Now they're at it again. However, while the first go around was very much in Ketoret's atmospheric direction, their new track together, "Delusions," takes a grave nod in Singer's already quite doomy inclinations, resulting in one of the most affecting doomy/black metal tracks this side of Forlesen and Wolveserpent. Stunning, slow, and written and executed basically perfectly.
Thus I am very proud to be able to premiere this gem of a thing for y'all here and now. Scroll a bit down (you can do it, I believe in you) and your aching soul will thank you.
As always, check out my various interview projects and other cool shit. And if you'd like to keep abreast of the latest, most pressing developments follow us wherever I may roam (FALSE!) (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify and now also a tape-per-day series on TIK TOK!), and listen to my, I guess, active (?) podcast (YouTube, Spotify, Apple), and to check out our amazing compilation albums. You can support our unholy work here (Patreon), if you feel like it. Early access to our bigger projects, weekly exclusive recommendations and playlists, and that wonderful feeling that you're encouraging a life-consuming habit.

You can stream the track on the Ketoret Bandcamp and thus also throw your hard-earned cash on their wonderful melodies.
