Premiere: Enter the Harsh Ambient Cosmos of Metzulot

It's been a while since I've premiered anything in this humble abode, maybe it's been a while since there was anything worth premiering. This, however, is worth premiering. Metzulot is the collaborative project bringing together the many hues of abject depression represented by the talents of Tamar Singer (Zeresh, who recently released a great new track and a split with the inimitable Déhà), Michael Zolotov (Kadaver), and Shay Mizrachi (Choshech). They've already released one track via my most recent compilation (the most recent one being the one released in 2023, as the end of the world as we know it was beginning to take place), and are now set to release their new single, "אין" ("nothing," or "nothingness") later this week. However, you lucky souls of black won't have to wait that long since you can partake in the slow-moving, slithering sombre song right now in the quite fetching Bandcamp link below. You can also pre-save the single here, wherever you pre-save your pre-saves. Check it out, check out all their projects (the most recent Choshech is way up in my 2024 best-of list), and keep safe.
