Premiere: Be Consumed by the Experimental Weird Brutality of Harae

Last year Harae – a joint venture of Tamar Singer's (Zeresh) and Amandine Fradejas (Eyriahrk Nunshkar) – released a stunning debut EP of moody, atmospheric (in the literal sense, not the generic one), weird, ambient black metal. Not wholly surprising, naturally, that it was as good as it was given its pedigree, and yet still striking in style and beauty. Now, as the duo gears up to release what I hope will amount to a whole new album, they have graced us with with another fantastic new track with the equally fantastic title: "Don't Judge a Soul by Its Mask." An unholy mix of twisted, avant-garde, blackened, industrial death metal. I know, a mouthful, right? But an earful too, trust me.

You can listen to this newly emergent beauty below, and support all they do (including pre-saving the new single) right here. The associated video is coming out this Friday, so set your notifications here.
