TRACK PREMIERE: UNDEATH, VILE RITUAL MEMBERS JOIN FORCES TO CRUSH YOU WITH SULFURIC HATRED

From amid the shouldering ashes of real life, it's my honor and privilege to present smoldering ashes of a musical kind. In my humble, often silly experience with extreme music it sometimes seems to me that, while I am known to indulge in some freaky-ass metal, the hardest thing to do is to get something seemingly simple absolutely right. That's the magic behind some of the defining rippers of the past few years, the perfection of deceptively simple violence. Some albums that come to mind include Miasmatic Necrosis' Apex Profane, Caustic Wound's Death Posture, Black Curses' Endless Wound, and, of course every Vastum album ever made (including the new one).

And you can add the debut from brand-new death metal project Sulfuric Hatred right on top of that smoky heap. It guess it shouldn't be that much of a surprise, given that this supposedly fresh face on the butcherous horizon of nasty death metal is comprised by the not-so fresh faces (no offense): the manic riffing of Liam McMahon (Vile Ritual and Ninth Realm); the timekeeping insanity of Sam Shereck (Stabbed, and formerly of Reeking Aura, including an unreal performance on Blood and Bonemeal); and one of the best death-pipes on earth, Undeath's Alexander Jones (full disclosure: this meek website has been an Undeath fan since their first and brilliant demo).

Put that all in one pot and, following an amazing demo last year, you get the absolute ripping full-length and self-titled debut from Sulfuric Hatred, due out December 15 on the great Sentient Ruin Laboratories.
